The Thomas More football program has picked up three local recruits in Boone County seniors Sam Brown, Greg Turner and Greg Nieman. All three were Enquirer all-stars. Westminster College officials recently released plans for a $1.7 million stadium renovation project at Memorial Field and Harold Burry Stadium. In addition to lighting, and an all-new artificial turf , the plans include the Joseph B. Fusco Plaza and an entrance way named in memory of Jerry C. Neff, a Westminster board of trustees member and Towering Titan Organization co-founder who passed away in October 2007.

Yellow Jackets Turn to Headlee, Yates to Revive Wrestling Program
Waynesburg University has hired two successful high school coaches in Greene County in an attempt to rebuild its struggling wrestling program. It was announced Friday that Ron Headlee, a former coach at Jefferson-Morgan, will be the Yellow Jackets' head coach and that he will be assisted by John Yates. Headlee, a Waynesburg native, was an assistant for several seasons at Waynesburg High School under Yates, who resigned following the 2006-07 season, his 10th as the Raiders' head coach.

A stadium renovation project estimated at $1.7 million is under way at Westminster College. Renovations to Memorial Field and Harold Burry Stadium will include lighting and artificial turf. In addition, the Joseph B. Fusco Plaza and an entranceway named in memory of Jerry C. Neff will be constructed around the existing stadium.

The athletic department and the Student Government Association will be selling pink T-shirts for $10 in the week leading up the event with a portion of the proceeds going to the Susan G.
