Win No. 500 For Geneva
BEAVER FALLS - The Geneva College football program wouldn't get any
style points for its 29-7 win over La Salle at Reeves Field Saturday
afternoon in front of a capacity homecoming crowd. But the
celebration afterward had nothing to do with how pretty it looked or
didn't look as the defense dominated and offense sputtered. The
celebration had to do with the win being the 500th in program
history, making Geneva only the 25th school in NCAA Division III
history to do so.
