Calling All-Region
Of the things I do at this site,
voting on D3baseball.com's preseason and postseason awards
is among my favorites. Baseball lends itself to deep
statistical analysis. I lend myself to deep statistical
analysis. I’ve always been a nerd for numbers, and I’ve
always felt that numbers – the computing, the compiling, the
romanticizing, the archiving, the comparing, the revering –
are at the core of baseball more so than any other sport. A
reductionist would call Around the Nation’s series on BBCOR
bats a love letter to statistics. I’d agree.
